Samyang Lens Station for Canon RF

Key Features:

  • Updates the firmware for autofocus Samyang RF mount lenses

A Lens Station is used to keep the electronics in interchangeable lenses up to date. You place it on a lens like a camera, then connect it to a PC or Mac via USB. Now the computer can access the lens directly using special software.

With the Lens Station, you get the most out of your Samyang autofocus lenses. Update the firmware, make individual adjustments to the autofocus or adjust the sensitivity of the focus ring when focusing manually.

Please download the ‘Lens Manager’ software to use the Lens Station, see bottom of page. The software is available in a number of languages, including German, English, Spanish and French.


How to use

1. Attaching the lens to the Lens Station

  • Remove the protective cap from the Lens Station
  • Mount the lens with the red dot on the red dot of the lens station
  • Turn the lens until it clicks into place


2. Connect the lens station

  • Use the supplied USB cable for connection to the computer
  • Start the Lens Manager software and customise the functions

    Compatibility

    The Samyang Lens Station is only compatible with Canon RF Mount autofocus lenses from Samyang. It is not suitable for Samyang lenses with manual focusing or lenses from other manufacturers.     

    Safety Instructions

    General notes:

    • FeatureLenses for other bayonets cannot be connected via the bayonet adapter.
    • FeaturePlace the Lens Station on a firm surface (e.g. a table) and then mount your lens.
    • FeatureNote the greater leverage when using longer lenses, as these can easily tip over and fall down.
    • FeatureUse the USB cable supplied with the product. If a different cable is used, the product may not work properly.
    • FeatureMake sure that the USB connection is not interrupted during the update.
    • FeatureOperating environment: Temperature 0° to 40° Celsius, humidity 30 to 70 %, otherwise risk of condensation and damage to the Lens Station and lens.
